Inside Sales Support

Melrose International currently has an opening for Inside Sales Support Specialist. Essential job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Update and maintain outside sales representative database
  • Educate new and existing representatives on product, software, and customer inquiries
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representatives for further development and closure
  • Maintain existing customer accounts and develop new customers through individual account support
  • Ensure accuracy of customer database, address changes, email addresses, etc.
  • Follow up on open orders, outstanding issues and backorders to close and increase shippable dollars
  • Encourage customers to set up an online account and provide website ordering support
  • Identification of sales opportunities from telephone, mail, and website inquiries; follow-up with pricing and product information
  • Coordinate show travel with office employees and showrooms
  • Work with Inside Sales Coordinators under the direction of the Inside Sales and Marketing Coordinator

The ideal candidate will have the following requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in customer/sales support
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-reliant and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong math aptitude, analytical thinking and attention to detail required

Independent Sales Representatives


Independent Sales Representatives are responsible for maintaining and growing current clients while also introducing new businesses to the Melrose product lines. Traveling for Road Sales is an obligation; along with attending Showrooms throughout the United States during specified Market dates.

Candidates will possess self motivation, determination to meet and exceed company goals and a proven ability to build business relationships. Previous experience as a ‘Gift & Holiday’ Line Representative a necessity.
